This fintech mobile application was designed to give users complete control over their financial lives through an intuitive, data-driven interface. ### The Challenge In a crowded market of finance apps, most suffer from one of two problems: they are either too complex for the average user or too simple to provide meaningful insights. Our goal was to strike the perfect balance between power and simplicity. ### Core Features #### 1. Smart Budgeting The app uses machine learning to categorize transactions automatically. By analyzing spending habits over time, it generates personalized budgets that adapt to the user's lifestyle. #### 2. Investment Portfolio Tracking Real-time tracking of stocks, crypto, and ETFs. The dashboard provides a unified view of all assets, with performance metrics and historical data visualization. #### 3. Security First Built with bank-grade security protocols. - **Biometric Authentication**: FaceID and TouchID support. - **End-to-End Encryption**: All sensitive data is encrypted locally before syncing. - **Privacy Mode**: Hide balances with a simple gesture. ### Technical Implementation We chose **React Native** for its ability to deliver a native-like experience on both iOS and Android from a single codebase. - **State Management**: Redux Toolkit for predictable state updates. - **Backend Service**: Google Firebase for real-time data syncing and authentication. - **Testing**: Comprehensive unit and integration testing with Jest ensuring 99% crash-free sessions. ### Results Since its launch, the app has helped over 50,000 users save an average of 15% more per month. The redesign increased user engagement by 40% and reduced support tickets by half due to the improved navigation structure.
